Dr. Marina Nassim

Dr. Marina is a very experienced GP, who enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, including those of LGBTIQ+ community.

Dr. Marina speaks fluent Russian, having graduated from Smolensk State Medical University in Russia. She lived in the UK for 12 years and worked there as a GP prior to moving to Melbourne in 2009.

Dr. Marina enjoys working in all areas of General Practice, including all aspects of Dermatology, Skin Cancer medicine and mole checks, Women’s health (all aspects), contraception including Implanon and IUD insertion and removals, Menopause management and Hormonal Replacement Therapy, Sexual dysfunction in menopause, Pregnancy planning, antenatal care (shared care) and postnatal mother and baby checks, Sexual health (all genders), Chronic disease management and weight loss treatments.

Dr Marina also specialises in treatment of melasma/facial hyperpigmentation (including prescribing of hydroquinone-based creams); treatment of genital warts and other genital lesions; removal of skin tags, steroid injections for alopecia areata and keloid scars; PrEP prescribing, initiation and prescribing of gender affirming hormonal therapy.
