Do I need an appointment?
Is Capstone Medical Clinic a Bulk Billing Clinic?
We are a mixed billing clinic and consultation fees will be charged at the discretion of the treating doctor. We offer Medicare Bulk Billing to patients with a
-Pension Concession Card
-HealthCare Card
-DVA card
-Under 16 years of age

Is there a cancellation fee?
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please contact the clinic as soon as possible to cancel or change your appointment. A cancellation fee will apply if we do not receive notice of your cancellation. We require minimum 4 hours notice if you need to cancel/reschedule your appointment. This ensures other patients can seek treatment and book appointments with their preferred doctor.
Can I claim my consultation from Medicare?
Our clinic can submit your receipt online to Medicare for claiming and your rebate can be sent directly to your nominated bank account.
Does this clinic offer telehealth?
As well as face to face consults, our clinic does offer telehealth appointments over the phone or by video chat. If a blood test or physical examination is required, the doctor will request for an in person consultation.
*Medicare will not cover telehealth appointments for new patients or patients who have not had an in person consultation in the past 12 months.
Can I claim with TAC, WorkCover or on my own private health insurance?
We can provide you with an itemised invoice for your consult on the day which you can use to claim back on your insurance or with TAC/WorkCover.
How do I receive my test results?
Test results are not emailed or given to patients without a face to face or telehealth follow-up consultation prior.
Do we offer pathology services at our clinic?
Yes, we offer pathology services however a referral is required. Our pathology service is open 8:30am to 4pm Monday to Friday and no appointment is needed.
*If you require a referral, you must book an appointment before visiting pathology.
